Professor Ivan Parkin – Scientific Advisor
Ivan Parkin is Head of the chemistry department at University College London. He is a professor of Materials Research and Inorganic Chemistry and an expert in the field of functional coatings working with leading organisations in this sector. He is the author of some 400 international research papers and has given over 150 invited lectures. He is the author of 14 granted patents, and 10 contributions to books. He has been awarded the Kroll medal, the Beilby Medal and The Jubilee medal for contributions to the academic science underpinning applications in industry.
Suzanne Kostan – Patent Advisor
Suzanne Koston works as an independent patent agent based near Dublin, Ireland. Suzanne is a consultant to THETA. Suzanne is regularly retained as a consultant to the Intellectual Property firm Hanna IP, which assists technology clients in protecting all forms of intellectual property. Suzanne has worked with clients ranging in size from SME’s to large multi-national corporations to individual inventors and offers professional services in filing and prosecuting patent applications in Ireland, at the European Patent Office (EPO) and under the PCT.
